Homecare Assistant / Care Assistant in Knottingley, West Yorkshire – Complex Care.
Shift Patterns:
- Variable shift patterns available
- 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM – Day Calls
- 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM – Night Calls
- 10:00 PM – 08:00 AM – Waking Nights
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the care role, including mobility assistance.
- Assist with personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes) and meals.
- Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Ensure comfort and safety, maintaining a clean and organised environment.
- Use mechanical and non‑mechanical aids to help residents move.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of service users’ activities and update care plans.
Ideal Candidate:
- Hardworking and honest.
- Valid care training certificate.
- Full, valid driving licence (personal vehicle an added advantage).
- Minimum of six months experience in a care setting.
- Current and valid enhanced DBS.
- Willingness to be paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
- Experience in customer service.
