Homecare Assistant / Care Assistant – Apperley Bridge, Bradford – Complex Care. Variable shift patterns available: Day Calls (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM), Night Calls (07:00 PM – 07:00 AM), Waking Nights (10:00 PM – 08:00 AM).

The team helps service users achieve life goals, including those with dementia. Attractive hourly rates, flexible work schedules and weekly pay.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the care role.
- Provide support with mobility and help service users move around.
- Assist service users with personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
- Assist service users with their meals.
- Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of the service users, including maintaining a clean and organised environment.
- Use mechanical and non‑mechanical aids to help residents when moving.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service users’ activities, update notes accordingly in care plans, etc.
Ideal Candidate:
- Hard working and honest.
- Valid care training certificate.
- Full, valid driving licence (access to a personal vehicle is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a care setting.
- Current and valid enhanced DBS.
- Willing to get paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
- Experience in customer service.
