Homecare Assistant / Care Assistant – Great Horton, Bradford | Complex Care
Variable shift patterns available:
- 07:00 AM – 7:00 PM – Day Calls
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM – Night Calls
- 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM – Waking Nights
Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the care role as part of the team.
- Assist with mobility to help service users move around.
- Provide personal care including undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, and pad changes.
- Assist with meals.
- Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Ensure comfort and safety, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Use mechanical and non‑mechanical aids to help residents when moving.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Keep accurate, detailed records of service users’ activities and update care plans accordingly.
Ideal Candidate:
- Hardworking and honest.
- Valid care training certificate.
- Full, valid driving licence (access to a personal vehicle is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a care setting.
- Current and valid enhanced DBS.
- Willingness to be paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
- Experience in customer service.
