Littleton Academy is a residential treatment setting for latency-aged students that specializes in trauma-informed care. Littleton provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Salary: $22.00/hr
Who We Are Looking For
Are you the Medical Assistant we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students!
Responsibilities
- You will be able to drive students to support appointments.
- You will engage in wellness programming and support medical administration.
- You will develop your nursing skills by educating and providing health care services to promote healthy choices that enhances our students’ physical and mental well-being.
- You will create a safe and therapeutic community by providing oversight and vigilance around documenting and administering medications and completing assessments to ensure the best treatment for our students.
- You will help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop awareness around their medical needs and how to make healthy choices around nutrition, hygiene and exercise.

Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required.
- Experience working with specialized populations of adolescents preferred.
- Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
- Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
- At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
