Position: Domestic
Hours: An average of 18 hours per week, with shifts typically between 8:00am–2:00pm and occasional 2:00pm–8:00pm shifts, depending on the rota. Flexibility to cover annual leave is required.
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the care home, including bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
- Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and distributing residents' clothing and linens.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and in line with COSHH guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the appropriate person.
- Work respectfully around residents, maintaining their dignity, privacy, and comfort.
- Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
