Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.08 per hour (circa £26,000 per annum when perm)

Days / Hours: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Minder to join a well-established manufacturing business based in the outskirts of Ipswich in Hadleigh, Suffolk.

Key Duties:

  • Operating and monitoring filling machine.
  • Machine minding and making basic machine setting adjustments.
  • Assisting with machine set-up and changeovers following training.
  • Filling products ranging from 3ml to 200ml.
  • Carrying out tube production and ensuring products meet quality standards.
  • Labelling and packing finished products into boxes.
  • Tube testing and quality checks.
  • Cleaning down machinery between production runs.
  • Working efficiently to meet daily production targets.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and following health & safety procedures.
  • Attendance at daily update meeting at 0830.

Requirements:

  • Work quickly, methodically and within a team.
  • Ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks and follow instructions.
  • A willingness to work flexibly across other departments.
  • Awareness of environmental pollution prevention and maintaining a clean working environment.
  • Previous production, manufacturing or machine minding experience – this is essential.
  • Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle – this is essential.
  • Full training will be given.
