About the role: We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Primary school in Bidford Upon Avon who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term supply basis starting in September. This friendly and inclusive school is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons to a Year 5 class, supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support and challenge pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the wider school community and school activities where required
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners within the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and complete planning and marking responsibilities
- Support pupils' academic and personal development throughout Key Stage 2
Pre-requisites:
- Two education/school-based references
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
