About the role: justteachers are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Thetford that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September. This role will begin on a supply basis, providing an excellent opportunity for both the candidate and the school to ensure the role is the right fit, with the intention of offering a permanent position following a successful trial period. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will inspire a love of learning through engaging lessons, create a positive classroom environment, and support pupils in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes a love of learning
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs
- Differentiate learning activities to support pupils of all abilities
- Establish high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting confidence, resilience, and independence
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders to support pupil progress
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement and wellbeing
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through meetings, school events, and extracurricular opportunities where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and fulfil all teaching responsibilities in accordance with school policies
- Promote safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times

Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3, is desirable
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
