About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Worksop from September 2026. The role is ideal for an energetic and motivated teacher who can deliver high-quality PE lessons and encourage students to develop confidence, teamwork and a lifelong enjoyment of sport and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Teach a range of sports and physical activities
- Monitor and assess student progress and participation
- Promote healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes towards physical activity
- Support extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and student engagement
Pre-requisites:
- QTS is required, or another relevant qualification
- Experience teaching PE to secondary-aged students
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching and learning
- Provide two education/school-based references from the last two years
