justteachers are currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Business to join a very good secondary school in Wisbech. This is a full-time position starting in September, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a successful Business department within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and develop the Business department
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
- Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, implementing strategies to raise attainment
- Develop and implement an engaging and ambitious Business curriculum
- Support and mentor members of the department
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and departmental development plans
- Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level, including KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- A commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil achievement
- Two recent references
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
