About the role:
Justteachers is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Wellingborough. This full‑time position starts June 2026 and runs until February 2027. You will support classroom learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, assisting teachers and helping pupils develop confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support across a range of subjects
- Assist with small group activities and guided learning tasks
- Support pupils in maintaining focus and completing work
- Help prepare classroom resources and displays
- Encourage positive participation in learning activities
Pre-requisites:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references within the last two years from a related field
