About the role
Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a welcoming, small SEN provision in Warwick from September 2026.
You will take responsibility for a small class of pupils with moderate learning needs, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants.
The setting supports children aged 11 to 16 with a range of additional needs, including moderate learning difficulties, ASD, speech and language needs, and mild SEMH challenges.
With small class sizes, we are able to deliver personalised learning, focusing on academic progress, social development, and independence skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to meet a range of learning needs and EHCP targets.
- Use a creative and flexible approach to make learning accessible and enjoyable for every student.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture where pupils feel valued and supported.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
- Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist or small-group setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting every child to achieve their potential.
- Two professional references from an educational setting.
