About the role:
Justteachers is offering an opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Warwick. The role is to start ASAP and is expected to last for 1 term. The role is part-time (08.30-13.00) and will include working 1:1 with a KS2 student with SEN. With a focus on inclusion, the school ensures every child and teacher feels valued and supported, creating a welcoming and respectful environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support a Y3 student with complex needs on a 1:1 basis
- Provide feedback to the main class teacher and SENCO
- Provide a safe learning environment for the student
- Build strong rapport and support with learning activities
Pre-requisites:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience working in a primary school setting for at least 6 months
