Justteachers is seeking a dedicated Teacher with SEND responsibilities to join a welcoming school in the Wakefield area on a long-term basis. This full-time role is due to commence in September, with shortlisting currently underway. Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
- Working closely with the SENDCO, teaching staff, and support teams to implement and review individual support plans
Pre-requisites
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND within a classroom setting
- A good understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation
- Two education or school-based references
