An EYFS Teaching Assistant is sought to join a primary school setting in Stratford-upon-Avon. This full-time position will begin in September 2026 and continue through to the end of the academic year. The primary school is a two-form entry setting, serving the local community. The role focuses on supporting young children’s early development, wellbeing, and learning, helping them build strong foundations across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the class teacher to create a positive, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop
- Monitor children’s progress and behaviour to provide feedback to teachers and parents
- Help with promoting independence and managing the classroom environment
Pre-requisites
- Relevant level 3 early years qualification
- Proven experience working with children in a school, nursery or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
