About the Role:
Justteachers is recruiting a full‑time Science Teacher to work in a modern and innovative secondary school in Halifax for an ASAP start. This is a long‑term supply position in a school that encourages curiosity and scientific exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Mark and assess students’ work, providing timely feedback in line with school policy.
- Support students with exam preparation and intervention.
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies.
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to provide two education‑based references.
