About the role:
Justteachers are recruiting for a full-time Year 6 Class Teacher in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role will run from September 2026 continuing for the academic year, supporting pupils through the crucial period leading up to their Key Stage 2 SATs.
The school is a one-form entry setting with supportive leadership and a confident approach to teaching and learning. You will be joining a vibrant school in a rural area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching that engages pupils and supports secure understanding of the upper KS2 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-year assessments (SATs) and the transition to secondary school through focused revision and structured practice.
- Promote positive behaviour by establishing clear routines and using consistent, effective behaviour-management strategies.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
- Proven experience in Primary Education
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
