About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon from September 2026.
The school provides outstanding support for pupils with a range of complex learning needs and is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can make a positive impact on students’ educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with a variety of special educational needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Promote independence and confidence among pupils.
- Support learning activities within classroom and specialist settings.
- Monitor and record pupil progress.
- Assist with behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working within education, care, youth work, or SEN settings.
- Understanding of autism spectrum conditions and communication needs.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one.
