justteachers is recruiting a passionate KS2 Teacher for an SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role is to start ASAP for the right candidate and involves delivering a broad, balanced curriculum across all subjects, tailored to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons across KS2 subjects
- Differentiating learning to support a range of abilities and needs
- Implement EHCP targets into daily teaching practice
- Assess, record, and track pupil progress effectively
- Work closely with support staff and external professionals
- Foster a positive and structured learning environment
Pre-requisites
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching KS2, preferably in an SEN or alternative provision setting
- Knowledge of SEN, including SEMH, ASD, or MLD
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
