About the role: justteachers is recruiting for a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon from September 2026. This KS3 role involves supporting students through a crucial stage of their education, both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support KS3 students with a range of complex SEN needs
- Assist in delivering differentiated lessons across subjects
- Promote engagement, confidence, and independence
- Support behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support holistic development
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEN
- Strong behaviour management and resilience
- Ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs
