About the role
Justteachers are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Cover Supervisor to support a KS3 SEN school by providing classroom cover and wider support across the school where needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact in a specialist education setting while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom supervision across KS3 lessons
- Deliver learning activities prepared by teaching staff
- Support students with EHCPs and additional learning needs
- Help create a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Respond appropriately to behavioural and emotional needs
- Support staff and pupils across different areas of the school as required
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and school values
Pre-requisites
- Previous experience working with SEN students preferred
- Good understanding of behaviour management strategies
- Positive, empathetic, and professional attitude
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Availability to start ASAP
