Justteachers is currently recruiting for a KS1 teaching assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role begins in September 2026 until Easter. In this role, you’ll support pupils as they build confidence and key skills at the end of KS1. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support across the classroom, helping children build key early skills through guided activities and targeted support.
- Contribute to smooth classroom routines by encouraging positive behaviour, supporting transitions and helping maintain a calm, structured learning environment.
Pre-requisites
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational or care setting.
- Proven experience working with children in a school, nursery or relevant setting (that can be referenced).
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references.
