This full‑time role is to begin as soon as possible, continuing through to the next academic year, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and adapt Functional Skills lessons (English and/or Maths) to meet a wide range of SEMH needs, ensuring learning is accessible, engaging and appropriately scaffolded.

  • Use trauma‑informed and relational teaching strategies to promote focus, participation and emotional safety, including structured routines, visual prompts and hands‑on activities.
  • Support students with emotional regulation, modelling calm responses, offering in‑the‑moment reassurance, and using restorative approaches to help students re‑engage positively.
