We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a primary school in Sheffield. This part‑time role is due to start in September 2026 and will be offered on a long‑term supply basis for one term, with the possibility of extension. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment where early development is prioritised and staff are committed to providing a strong foundation for every child.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s early development across all areas of learning
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support each child’s development
Pre‑requisites:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. QTS, PGCE or equivalent in Early Years or Primary Education)
- Proven experience of working within an Early Years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
- Two education or school‑based references
- A nurturing approach with excellent communication and organisational skills
