Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Science Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Solihull area, starting in September 2026. This is a long-term opportunity.
With a strong commitment to high-quality teaching, the school's outstanding Science department offers a broad, engaging curriculum up to Key Stage 5, consistently producing excellent GCSE and A-level outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire learning in biology, chemistry, and physics while maintaining high standards of laboratory safety
- Manage a safe laboratory environment by supervising experiments, demonstrating techniques, and ensuring all chemical handling follows regulations
- Track and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and reports, ensuring timely, actionable feedback
- Promote high standards of behaviour while ensuring a safe and well‑structured classroom
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Science to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Two references we are able to apply for, desirably from an educational setting
