About the role
Justteachers is recruiting a Behaviour Support Assistant for a secondary school in Rushden. This role starts 5th May 2026 and runs until 18th December 2026. You will work closely with students to support positive behaviour and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support for pupils with behavioural needs
- Implement behaviour management strategies
- Support staff in maintaining a calm learning environment
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with students
Pre-requisites
- Experience working with challenging behaviour
- Resilient and patient attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references within the last two years from a related field
