About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a Year 5 Class Teacher. This is a full-time role with a May 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong KS2 team, clear curriculum planning and a focus on preparing pupils for upper KS2, with ongoing CPD opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging KS2 lessons
- Monitor and track pupil progress
- Provide differentiated support
- Work collaboratively with colleagues
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
- Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
