About the role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Year 4 class teacher in Rugby, starting in September 2026 and continuing through to the Easter term. This role will involve delivering a broad and engaging Key Stage 2 curriculum.
The junior school is a four-form entry setting supporting pupils aged 7–11. Located in an urban area, the school promotes active, hands‑on learning. You will be joining a strong and professional teaching team committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality Year 4 lessons that support pupils in developing a strong understanding of the lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Support pupils’ progress and build confidence in core subjects, laying solid foundations for future learning and progression into upper Key Stage 2.
- Promote positive behaviour across the classroom by implementing effective strategies, clear expectations, and consistent routines.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
- Proven experience in Primary Education
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
