About the role: Justteachers Supply Agency is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed full-time Spanish Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Rugby, starting in September 2026. This long-term position is expected to run until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role. The school, based in Rugby, has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and serves secondary-aged pupils. It offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment, with a strong leadership team dedicated to staff development and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging Spanish lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Encouraging confidence in language learning through interactive and communicative teaching methods
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback to support attainment
- Creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes participation and respect
- Supporting the wider languages department and contributing to extracurricular activities where appropriate
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level, ideally up to GCSE
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of all abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative approach to working within a team
- Two professional references, ideally from an educational setting
