About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with complex needs. This is a full‑time role with an Immediate start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong inclusive ethos, experienced SEND team and access to specialist training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structured 1:1 support
- Support sensory and communication needs
- Implement EHCP strategies
- Work collaboratively with staff
Pre-requisites:
- Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
- Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
