About the role
Justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 SEN Teacher for a specialist school in Rugby, starting in September 2026. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on pupils with diverse learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons suited to KS2 pupils with SEN
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs
- Monitor and evaluate pupil progress through regular assessment
- Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to review meetings
- Fulfil full teaching duties, including planning and marking
Pre-requisites
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching KS2, preferably within an SEN setting
- Knowledge of a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills
