About the role
Join our supportive and inclusive primary school in Rugby from September 2026 as SEN Support Staff.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential, providing tailored support in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons suitable for diverse learning needs.
- Support social, emotional, and behavioural development of pupils.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and communicate updates to teaching staff.
Pre‑requisites
- Experience supporting children with SEN in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of strategies to support learning and behaviour for children with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, patient, and adaptable to different situations.
