About the role:
Justteachers Supply Agency is currently seeking an inspiring and committed full-time History Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Rugby area from April 2026. This is a long-term opportunity, expected to run through to the end of the academic year. The school is a large Catholic secondary setting with a strong ethos built on respect, equality, and a commitment to hard work. It provides a supportive and values-driven environment where both students and staff are encouraged to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver History lessons across KS3 to KS4, taking on full classroom responsibilities
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy
- Differentiate effectively to support a range of abilities, including pupils with SEN
- Undertake the role of Form Tutor and provide pastoral support
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching History to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Two education or school-based references where applicable
