About the role: A well-regarded and vibrant secondary school in Rugby, who focus on instilling the core values of respect, resilience and kindness are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a full-time supply role that will be starting September 2026. This is a thrilling opportunity to help inspire students and develop a love of Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and planning stimulating Geography lessons, in line with the national curriculum, that ignite students’ curiosity
- Providing clear and encouraging feedback while monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student progress
- Planning inclusive lessons that support every student by adapting to a wide range of learning needs
- Drive high standards by promoting excellent behaviour, attendance, and academic effort
- Take a proactive role in the wider school community by engaging in professional development and extracurricular activities
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Geography to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
