About the role
Justteachers is seeking a committed Year 6 Class Teacher for a full‑time position within a primary school in Leamington Spa. This role will run from September 2026 until the end of the academic year.
The school is a one‑form‑entry setting located in an urban area, supporting children from Early Years through to Key Stage 2. It is known for its warm, nurturing ethos and its commitment to building confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality Year 6 lessons that support pupils in mastering the upper‑KS2 curriculum.
- Effectively prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school and end of year assessments (SATs).
- Promote positive behaviour across the classroom by using effective strategies and clear routines.
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
- Proven experience in Primary Education
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
