About the role: Justteachers Supply Agency are currently recruiting a full-time Religious Education Teacher for a long-term role at one of our partner secondary schools in Leamington Spa, starting in September 2026. This position is expected to continue through to the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent. The school, located in Leamington Spa, is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and caters to secondary students. It has a strong and supportive senior leadership team, providing an excellent working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging Religious Education lessons that explore a range of beliefs, values, and ethical perspectives
- Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and respectful debate among students
- Setting assignments, marking work regularly, and using data to monitor student progress and attainment
- Creating a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment while effectively managing student behaviour
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
