Justteachers are looking for a SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Thetford on a long‑term, full‑time supply basis starting as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and creating a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a creative, differentiated primary curriculum
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Use trauma‑informed and therapeutic approaches to support behaviour
- Work closely with a skilled team of support staff, therapists and leaders
- Track progress and contribute to personalised learning plans
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Two education or school based references
- Experience in SEMH, SEND or alternative provision (desirable but not essential)
- A calm, patient and reflective approach
- Strong behaviour‑support skills and a commitment to trauma‑informed practice
- A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers and thrive
