Justteachers is seeking a Secondary Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a secondary school in the Preston area on a full time basis.
The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND across KS3 and KS4
- Adapt learning resources to meet individual EHCP targets
- Support pupils with literacy, numeracy and communication needs
- Implement behaviour support plans and intervention strategies
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Promote independence and positive engagement in lessons
- Support pupils during transitions between classes and activities
- Assist with personal, social and emotional development
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress

Pre-requisites
- Previous UK secondary school experience
