About the role: Justteachers is offering an opportunity for a Primary Teacher to join one of our Schools in the Preston area on a full-time basis to start as soon as possible. The school is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. The setting is designed for those that require short term intervention, respite or support until a positive transition back into mainstream or onto special Schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEND and SEMH.
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and carers to support every child’s learning journey.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and reporting.
Pre-requisites
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural challenges, ideally in a teaching role.
- Knowledge of a range of SEND and SEMH strategies and interventions.
- Two education or school-based references.
- A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
