About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an Inclusion Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary or specialist school in the Preston area on a long-term basis.
The full-time post is due to start in September 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.
The school is committed to inclusive practice, ensuring all pupils- particularly those with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs- are supported to access the curriculum, feel valued, and reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom, 1:1 and small-group settings
- Assisting teachers in adapting learning activities to ensure inclusion and accessibility
- Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing across the school
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant qualifications or experience supporting children with additional needs
- Proven experience working in an inclusive educational setting
- Strong knowledge of SEND strategies, differentiation and inclusive practice
- Two education or school-based references
