PE Teacher to join the team on a full‑time basis from September 2026 .

You’ll deliver high‑quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

This role is perfect for someone who brings energy, resilience, and a strong presence to both practical and theory-based lessons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Use strong behaviour‑management strategies to maintain a positive, disciplined learning environment.
  • Lead practical sessions across a range of sports, ensuring safety and inclusivity.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
  • Contribute to the wider PE curriculum, extracurricular clubs, and school sporting events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote health, wellbeing, and active participation.

Pre‑requisites

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge across the KS3 and KS4 PE curriculum.
  • Proven ability to manage behaviour confidently and consistently.
  • Experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and high expectations for all students.
