A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Peterborough is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time Year 6 Teacher
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Prepare pupils effectively for SATs whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
- Assess, monitor and support pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Contribute to school events, enrichment opportunities and wider school life
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to raising achievement for all pupils
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
