Key responsibilities- Support classroom learning; Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
- Provide targeted academic support; Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce key concepts
- Assist with behaviour support; Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a focused learning environment
- Prepare learning materials; Help organise resources and activities to support teaching
- Support SEND needs; Provide additional help for pupils with diverse learning needs
- Encourage student wellbeing; Build positive relationships and support pupils’ social and emotional development
- Contribute to a safe environment; Help maintain a calm, respectful and inclusive school atmosphere
- Experience working with young people in a school or youth‑focused setting
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA) are beneficial but not essential
- Two recent educational based references
- A calm, confident and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with staff and students
- Genuine enthusiasm for supporting learning and wellbeing
- Flexibility to adapt to different subjects, year groups and needs
