About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a dedicated KS3 SEN Teacher for a rewarding role within a specialist SEN school in Nuneaton. Starting in September 2026, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting pupils with additional needs through engaging and personalised learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to KS3 pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Differentiate lessons to support varying abilities and learning styles
- Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Work closely with teaching assistants and pastoral teams
- Develop and implement individual learning plans where required
- Track student development and provide regular progress updates
- Encourage positive social, emotional, and academic outcomes
Pre-requisites:
- QTS or recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience working with SEN pupils preferred
- Knowledge of autism, SEMH, and associated learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
