About the role:
Justteachers are working with a welcoming secondary school in South Norwich who are seeking a passionate and dedicated English specialist to join their team on a supply basis for the remainder of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who thrives on inspiring young people and delivering high‑quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well‑planned English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Prepare, mark, and assess student work in line with school and curriculum expectations
- Create a positive, well‑managed classroom environment that supports learning
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain high standards
- Monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas where additional support is needed
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Two education or school based references
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English
- Ability to deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons
- Confident in managing classroom behaviour and building positive relationships
