justteachers is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Norwich to recruit a passionate and dedicated French Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term position with a September start.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and forward-thinking Modern Foreign Languages department, delivering engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence and a love for languages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress effectively
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
  • Support students in developing confidence in speaking, reading, and writing French
Pre-requisites
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching French within a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Two recent, relevant references
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
