About the role: Justteachers are working in partnership with a secondary school located just south of Norwich, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team after the Easter break on a long term supply basis. This is a full-time position with full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering engaging lessons, and marking. The successful candidate will teach across KS3 and KS4, contributing to a supportive department committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that meet curriculum requirements across KS3 and KS4. This includes sequencing learning, preparing resources, and adapting lessons to meet different needs.
  • Assess, mark and monitor student progress in line with school policy. This involves providing constructive feedback, tracking attainment, and identifying students who may need additional support.
  • Differentiating teaching to support a range of abilities, including high attainers, students with SEND, and those who require additional scaffolding.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management, creating a positive, safe and focused learning environment.

Pre-requisites:

  • A qualified Maths Teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons
