About the role
Justteachers is seeking a caring SEN Support Worker to join a specialist school in Northampton. This full-time role begins ASAP and runs until January 2027. You will support pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them access learning and develop daily life skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support for pupils with additional needs
- Assist with communication and engagement during lessons
- Support pupils with routines and transitions throughout the day
- Encourage independence and confidence in learning
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Pre-requisites
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
- Compassionate and patient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references within the last two years from a related field
