About the role:
Justteachers is recruiting a proactive Behaviour Mentor for a secondary school in Northampton. This full-time position starts ASAP and runs until July 2026. You will support pupils who require additional behavioural guidance, helping them remain engaged and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one mentoring for targeted pupils
- Support behaviour management strategies across the school
- Build positive relationships to support engagement
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Work alongside pastoral and teaching teams
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working with young people in a mentoring or support role
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references within the last two years from a related field
