About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a motivated and committed KS2 Teacher to join a small, rural primary school near Mildenhall from September on a long term supply basis. This friendly and community-focused school offers a supportive and welcoming environment where pupils are eager to learn and staff work collaboratively to maintain high standards.
With smaller class sizes and a strong emphasis on both academic achievement and personal development, this role provides a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for planning, preparation, and marking
- Delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Supporting pupils in preparation for transition to secondary education
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress, and attainment
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2, ideally upper KS2
- Confidence in teaching mixed-age classes and differentiating for a range of abilities
- Two education or school based references
- Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
